Roxul begins spring contest promotion

Home insulation company Roxul, based in Milton, ON, has begun a contest promotion called "Get Between the Studs." The initiative is intended to educate consumers about the importance of insulation. The contest will run on Twitter and Instagram until May 24. Consumers can enter by submitting photographs or videos demonstrating how much their house requires remodeling. Entries can also be submitted at <http://www.getbetweenthestuds.com>. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges and television personality Scott McGillivray. The winner will receive a design consultation with McGillivray, along with $10,000 toward their remodel and $1,200 in Roxul insulation. The contest also includes weekly prizes.

"There's no question that a good remodel starts between the studs," said McGillivray.  "Homeowners tend to jump right to the end result. Their mindset, understandably, is focused on the finishes. Choosing quality insulation may not provide the same sizzle, but it's essential to ensure a remodel can stand the test of time and achieve its intended purpose. That's the message we want to share with consumers, and this contest is a fun, engaging way to achieve that."
