Holt Renfrew readies Uncrate Africa promotion

Clothing retailer Holt Renfrew will begin an in-store promotion called "Uncrate Africa" on April 1. The chain's H Project locations in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver will be dedicated to the sale of fashion, housewares and cosmetics products from 22 African brands. Participating brands will include Dannijo, Stella Jean, LemLem, Feed Africa, Mark Holden, Indego Africa, Me to We, Otago, Kiya Kenya and Chantecaille, which have produced exclusive marchandise collections for the promotion. The initiative will run through the spring.
"We are thrilled to unveil our Uncrate Africa boutique, celebrating the special artisanal stories behind one-of-a-kind products, hand-selected from across Africa," said Alexandra Weston director of brand strategy at Holt Renfrew. "For H Project, the height of luxury is beautiful, high-quality items that nurture cultures and communities."
