INTERNET CONFERENCE

The Canadian Advertising Research Foundation is hosting an Internet conference on Oct. 30 and 31 in Toronto. Sponsored by Apple Canada Inc., the event is called the Interactive Media Conference. The conference will discuss legal issues and special considerations for Web site development and advertising. In addition, Apple Canada will discuss effective Web site techniques and take a look at the future of the Internet. Other features of the conference include presentations from telecommunications and cable companies on how to get on the Web, a presentation on legal issues and advertising on the Internet and a discussion of Web site measurement techniques and options. Several media companies will also be on hand to show how they're using the Internet.
