Environics Analytics buys SM Research

Toronto-based Environics Analytics has acquired the business and assets of Sampling Modelling & Research Technologies, located in Markham, ON. SM Research will continue to offer its sample and data services, though its staff will join Environics. SM Research's data hygiene services will be integrated into Environic's services, and the two companies will develop future data and analytics products together.
"With the SM Research experts joining our team, we now have even more tools and expertise to help Canadian marketers analyze and mine their data," said Jan Kestle, president of Environics Analytics. "We are very excited about the new opportunities this agreement will allow us to offer to both companies' customers."
