Videology adds two, promotes one

Online video advertising company Videology has added several new staff members at its Toronto office. Peter Bates has joined the company as a senior commercial media account executive. He will manage publisher relationships in Canada and handle private marketplace and general video transactions. Bates was most recently business development manager at YuMe. Prior to that, he was brand solutions partnership development manager at Adconion Media Group.
Greg Hopper has been appointed to the newly-created position of technical sales specialist, responsible for system installation and training. He was previously a media executive at MediaCom Canada. Prior to that, he was publishing coordinator at Casablanca Media Publishing.
Sam Gottfried has been promoted to the position of account executive. He was previously sales strategy manager at Videology. Prior to joining the company, he was national sales planner at Rogers Digital Media and an assistant media executive at MediaCom.
