Canadian Olympic Committee adds two

The Canadian Olympic Committee has appointed Kristina Schaefer to the position of executive director of partnerships. She was most recently managing director of the sports practice at New York-based Teneo. Prior to that, she spent 15 years at IMG, concluding as senior vice-president of global Olympic consulting.
Marc-André Plouffe has joined the organization as executive director of communications. He was most recently a federal cabinet minister chief of staff. Prior to that, he was a senior advisor and speechwriter to the Prime Minister. He has also been press secretary to the Minister of Industry and a journalist and editor at CBC/Radio Canada.
