New president at Environics

Paul Lockhard will become president of Toronto-based Environics Canada on Oct. 6. Founding president Bruce MacLellan will remain chairman and CEO of the company. Lockhard was most recently vice-president and general manager of Toronto-based digital marketing agency EQ Works. Prior to that, he was a senior manager at Barony, CRM marketing lead at Labatt Breweries and managing director of client service at Edge Interactive Marketing. He was also a manager of interactive marketing at Maritz Canada, co-founder of 2PM Group and an account supervisor at Bates Advertising.

"Paul's communications experience marries traditional packaged goods marketing with extensive digital marketing skills gained from agency, client side and entrepreneurial experience," said MacLellan. "We see this as a strong addition to Environics Communications' ongoing evolution to meet our clients' needs as they make the challenging digital transformation of their business, hard wiring it into their organization's structures, processes, systems and incentives."
