TOY COMPANY COMES TO CANADA

Bandai of America Inc. opened a Canadian branch last month and gave its Canadian account to J. Walter Thompson Co. Ltd. of Toronto. The agency's New York office handles Bandai's U.S. business. TV advertising in English Canada will begin later this fall. Bandai is a toy company that make toys under the Beetle Borgs and Power Rangers names. the company is also involved in music entertainment, motion pictures, live theatre, video games, software, confectioneries, apparel, trading cards and vending machines. Michael Feraday has joined the company as general manager. He has also worked at Irwin Toys.
