Seevibes expands into Europe

Montreal-based audience measurement company Seevibes has acquired TvTweet of France. Both companies specialize in measuring the social media audience of television content. Seevibes has opened an office in Paris from which to begin an expansion into the European market. The company's services are aimed primarily at television networks, advertisers, brands and media agencies seeking to integrate social media communications with their television activity.

"The main goal for Seevibes is to help the media to better monetize the social network audience," said Laurent Maisonnave, president and CEO of Seevibes. "To support this, we've created a standard of measurement that has already been proven in Canada among the biggest players in the industry."

TvTweet was founded in 2011 and operates in seven European countries.
