Sopexa conducts French wine lounge promotion in Toronto

Montreal-based food and beverage company Sopexa Canada is conducting a street promotion in Toronto in support of its line of Alsace and French wines. The initiative, developed by Newad, takes the form of an outdoor lounge area that will be installed at various LCBO stores in the Greater Toronto Area. The lounge presents information about eight products and samples of three. Promotional workers can describe the grapes, the regions and the characteristics of these wines. Food trucks from Fidel Gastro, Caplanskys Deli and Urban BBQ will also be present at each installation. The campaign will run until Aug. 11. "Sopexa Canada always looks for the best ways to integrate their brands to an environment consistent with the consumer's lifestyle," said Anand Puran, director of experiential marketing for central Canada at Newad. "The pairing of wines from France and food trucks at LCBO stores is the ideal combination to further enhance the perception of a brand that already enjoys a good reputation."
