Specialty television channel W Network has launched a new website at WNetwork.com. The site is intended to provide a second-screen option to viewers, providing daily content intended to compliment its programs. This content includes video, photo galleries, resource guides and the ability to purchase products that appear in its shows. It also includes enhanced show pages and scheduling information. The new site makes use of a responsive design that adapts to desktop, tablet or smartphone users. Advertising options include banners, sponsorships and takeovers. W Network has also launched three new weekly electronic newsletters to accompany the site. "The new WNetwork.com is a perfect companion to our network, giving audiences the ability to watch their favourite show while checking out articles about hosts and stars, behind-the-scenes videos, recipes inspired by episodes, or even shopping for products featured on W," said Christina Litz, vice-president of digital content and engagement at Corus Entertainment. "The new site offers fans more engagement and the ability to connect with the network and other fans, all from the ease of their tablet on their laps."
