PHARMA PLUS RE-NAMES AND CONVERTS STORE
By Adnews Staff
Pharma Plus Drugmarts Ltd. of Mississauga, Ont. has renamed and converted one of its outlets in Richmond Hill, Ont. Called Health|Sense, the store has different sections and features mainstream and non-traditional products and services. The Health Care section has a private consultation room allowing for customer appointments with health care practitioners such as naturopathic doctors, nutritionists and massage therapists. This area is set in warm wood tones, resembling a modern age apothecary. Health Well will feature The Wellness Series: free health information sessions with health care practitioners on subjects such as stress management, wellness and nutrition. The Personal Care section offers a wide assortment of health and beauty aids, and a selection of cosmetics and fragrances not normally available in drugstores. This section is done in relaxing aqua tones, contains modern display fixtures for easy customer access and greater product display. Pharma Plus will open two more Health|Sense outlets in the next two months in Burlington and Lindsay, both in Ontario. The store is being promoted using weekly flyers, as well as weekly and monthly sales guides created by Roche, Macaulay & Partners Advertising of Toronto. The company is waiting to see how these three stores do before deciding on whether to open more, spokesperson Rochelle Stenzler told Adnews last week.
