CARF BREAKFAST SEMINAR

The Canadian Advertising Research Foundation will host a seminar in Toronto on Sept. 25 focusing on issues of television. Representatives from some of the new specialty services recently given approval by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission will discuss the nature of their applications. In addition they will talk about what they will offer consumers and why they will become part of every advertisers' TV schedule. The speakers are David Kirkwood of CHUM Ltd. and Bravo/MuchMusic, Eric Morrison of CTV N1, Doug Beeforth of S3 Regional Sports, John Riley of Teletoon and Phyllis Yaffe of the History and Entertainment Network. Carol-Ann Gelinas of Auger Babeux FCB Publicite will talk about people meters in Quebec, their problems and the solutions.
