RUBEL & SCHWAB LAUNCHES MIRUS CAMPAIGN

Toronto agency Rubel & Schwab launched a North American campaign earlier this month for MIRUS International, a Toronto company specializing in high-tech electrical engineering products. The campaign will be targeted at engineering consultants and electrical engineers, especially those in the U.S. It dramatizes the potential problems caused to computers by harmonics and portrays MIRUS as the expert in dealing with such dilemmas. Some components of the campaign have already begun, including direct mail and corporate brochures. Trade show displays and journal ads will begin running within the next month. MIRUS chose Rubel & Schwab as its agency in June, after conducting a competition that included only one other agency, Constructive Communications of Mississauga, Ont.
