Retailcommon hires ThoughtWorks

Toronto-based mobile marketing company Retailcommon has hired software development firm ThoughtWorks to improve its content management system. ThoughtWorks will focus on adding extra language functionality for international markets and compatibility with additional mobile device operating systems. The software is designed to allow clients to create digital coupons for special promotions, distribute them via consumer mobile devices and track responses. "Our software is now in operation in three languages and, as we roll out to other international markets, we need to be able to guarantee seamless and flawless execution in virtually any country on the planet," said Retailcommon CEO James Cunningham. "ThoughtWorks is the best in the business and has worked with other global companies to create software platforms that are ahead of the curve. Working with ThoughtWorks has ensured that we have the most sophisticated, user-friendly mobile marketing platform anywhere."
