Toronto District School Board begins My Food My Way promotion

The Toronto Education Workers and the Toronto District School Board have begun a campaign called "My Food My Way." The online initiative is intended to raise awareness of nutrition among students between the ages of 13 and 17. It takes the form of a website at <http://www.foodagram.ca>. Visitors to the site can choose from a selection of food-themed puppet characters, record a message with their own voice, and create a video of the puppet speaking the message. The video can then be shared via email or various social media sites. The campaign was developed by K & Co. of Toronto. "Foodagram as an experience is one we think will resonate loudly with students, inviting them to learn about nutrition in a non-traditional way," said Ahmad Ktaech, managing director of K & Co.
