Canadian Automobile Dealers Association, 24hrs form agreement

The Canadian Automobile Dealers Association has formed a promotional agreement with free daily publication 24hrs, owned by Quebecor Media. This is the first time the association has sought to use a media outlet to communicate directly with consumers. The association is a national organization representing 3,200 franchised automobile and truck dealerships in Canada. The agreement will take the form of a monthly feature in the publication's "Your Autonet" section that will offer advice on new vehicle purchasing. "We're very excited because this partnership benefits three parties," said Tony Lepera, senior national sales executive and automotive team leader at 24hrs. "Our 24hrs readers will be provided with great insider information from industry leader CADA, who in turn will be able to speak directly with over one million consumers, and 24hrs now has access to the entire 3,200-strong dealer network across Canada."
