Heart and Stroke Foundation readies zombie-based promotion

The Heart and Stroke Foundation will conduct a promotion in Toronto on Oct. 4 intended to promote awareness of CPR. At noon on that day, the foundation will debut a three-minute video on the subject, done in the style of a horror movie, at Yonge-Dundas Square. The video was created by science fiction film director Vincenzo Natali. The screening of the video is timed to coincide with the Toronto Zombie Walk, during which participants walk through the city in costume as zombies. The video will also be posted online at <http://www.theundeading.ca>. The campaign will conclude on Oct. 25 at amusement part Canada's Wonderland with an attempt to break the Guinness World Records for largest number of people trained in CPR at once.
