Toronto radio station Newstalk 1010 has begun a contest promotion called the "Million Dollar Live Drive with John Tory." Each weekday until May 25, the station will qualify two listeners during its Live Drive with John Tory program. On May 29, the entrants will compete in a golf challenge at Piper's Heath Golf Club in Hornby, ON. The contestant who shoots closest to the hole will receive $10,000. A contestant who shoots a hole-in-one will win $1 million. This is the second year the station has run this promotion. Newstalk 1010 is operated by Astral.
