Score Media and Gillette Canada have resumed a joint promotion called "Gillette Drafted." The initiative takes the form of a contest, the winner of which will receive a one-year contract as a sportscaster for TheScore Television, TheScore.com and ScoreMobile, as well as a one-year spokesperson contract with Gillette. Consumers can enter online at Drafted.ca or at a series of in-person auditions that will take place this month in Halifax, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. Twenty-four contenders will be selected to participate in a series of challenges, the results of which will air on TheScore and online at Drafted.ca, TheScore.ca and Facebook. A combination of public voting and a judging panel will determine six finalists, who will compete for the prize during a series of eight televised episodes beginning Sept. 24. "The updated format of Gillette Drafted reinforces the continued commitment we have to our consumers to provide innovative and exciting ways to connect, engage and enroll our fan base," said Chris Lamb, brand manager at Gillette Canada. "The title of Gillette spokesperson and Canada's next sportscaster is in the hands of Canadians and we can't wait to see who the fans pick."
