CMDA ESTABLISHES FUND TO HONOUR LATE CHAIRMAN
By Adnews Staff
The Canadian Direct Marketing Association has established the Roger Logan Scholarship Fund in honour of Mr. Logan, who passed away recently at the age of 48. While serving as chairman of the CDMA board in 1991 and 1992, Logan made education his top priority. As a former director of educational services for CDMA, he lectured on the benefits of direct marketing and worked with CDMA councils to develop educational programs. He conducted seminars at Ontario's Seneca College and Ryerson Polytechnic University and was involved in the Loyalist College post-graduate course in direct marketing. The fund will be used to promote direct marketing education in Canada and to give marketing students the chance to further their studies in the profession.
