Canada Wide Media buys Real Weddings

Canada Wide Media of Burnaby, BC has purchased Real Weddings magazine, along with its attendant directory and website, from founder Michael Alexander. No financial details are available. The first issue of the biannual magazine to be published by Canada Wide will be in the spring of 2012. The publication specializes in coverage of wedding-related information in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland area. A directory called Complete Weddings is also published annually. "Real Weddings is a quality local magazine and a natural complement to our company," said Peter Legge, CEO of Canada Wide Media. "Real Weddings is the largest regional wedding magazine in BC, and we are proud to add it to our stable of products and excited by the growth potential this brand presents."
