MALOFILM ACQUIRES MMI MULTI MEDIA INTERACTIF

Malofilm Communications Inc., of Montreal has bought MMI Multi Media Interactif of Montreal. The deal, which takes effect immediately, was concluded for an undisclosed amount of cash and 100,000 shares. For the time being MMI will keep its name. Founded in 1994, MMI specializes in the development and production of reference-based CD-ROMs, with an emphasis on sports-related titles. Advertising for Malofilm's video department is done by Litchco Graphics and Aware Graphics, both in Toronto, and also in-house. Advertising for the theatrical division is done in-house. PR is done by Novek Belanger Communications of Montreal.
