NEW EAR DEVICE RELIEVES AIR TRAVEL PAIN
By Adnews Staff
Cirrus Air Technologies, Inc. of Locust Valley, N.Y. will launch a campaign in October for its EarPlanes disposable earplugs. The product alleviates the ear pain suffered by thousands during air travel. EarPlanes are small disposable plugs that look like regular ear plugs and work with the body's own internal mechanism, enabling air entering the ear to do so slowly and safely, negating the often painful effects of rapid cabin air pressure changes. The product has been available in North America since early 1995, but most of the past year and-a-half has been spent distributing it, Cirrus spokesperson Alan Berger told Adnews yesterday. Canadian advertising will begin in mid-October with radio spots in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. There will also be ads in Canadian Airlines' and Air Canada's inflight magazines during October. The ads will be created by Grey Advertising of Toronto. Cowan and Associates of Los Angeles is doing PR.
