DOUBLECLICK REACHES 10 MILLION MARK
By Adnews Staff
Internet advertising network DoubleClick Inc. of New York passed the 10 million user mark last month, just five months after it began operations. The goal was achieved six months ahead of schedule. The company says this can be attributed to DoubleClick's increasing relationships with many of the more popular Web sites including NETworth Quicken, I-Golf, USA Today and Travelocity. In addition, the company's proprietary tracking technology offers advertisers measureable results and pinpoints delivery of messages customized to match user profiles. DoubleClick logs an average 95,000 users each weekday. Doubeclick is an advertising network for the World Wide Web. It lets advertisers distribute their ad banners to multiple Web sites, representing a full range of users, including investors, business professionals, college students, women, consumers, gamers and sports enthusiasts.
