Insurance company Aviva Canada will resumes its "Aviva Community Fund" program this fall. As part of the initiative, the company will distribute $1 million to various communities nationally to benefit at-risk youth and families. Consumers will be invited to submit ideas for improving their communities online at AvivaCommunityFund.org. The most popular submissions will receive funding. This will be the second year for the program. "This year we wanted to build on the passion we saw from Canadians in response to the first Aviva Community Fund by upping our commitment with a million-dollar pledge," said Maurice Tulloch, president and CEO of Aviva Canada. "This competition reinforces our mission to help children and families in need in the neighbourhoods where our customers, employees, brokers and partners live, work and play, everyday."
