Kula Partners opens in Halifax

A new marketing agency called Kula Partners has opened in Halifax. Founded by Carman Pirie, former vice-president of social media at Colour, and Jeff White, founder of Brightwhite Design Group, the firm will specialize in social media marketing, web development and content creation. "The explosive growth of social media and the extent that it connects us to each other means that organizations must now look at the traditional disciplines of marketing, public relations and customer service in a fundamentally different way," said Pirie. "We see it as the difference between marketing that uses tools that are available these days and marketing built for the way the world works these days."
