Cohn and Wolfe adds financial services unit

Toronto-based Cohn and Wolfe Canada has launched a new business unit aimed at clients in the financial services sector. The unit will focus on capital markets, investor relations, corporate reputation and other services. "The financial marketplace has its own language and international rhythm," said executive vice-president David Gordon. "Working with participants in this market over the past 20 years has given us a keen appreciation for the unique communication skills required to achieve their business objectives and encouraged us to continue to expand our expertise in this area." Dwayne Dreger has been appointed managing director of the Professional and Financial Services unit.
