MCLEISH SCOOPS FOOTWEAR JOURNAL
By Adnews Staff
McLeish Communications of Montreal has bought the trade publication called Footwear Forum and is incorporating it into its Canadian Footwear Journal next month. Canadian Footwear is an overall review of the footwear industry. Footwear Forum was a tabloid size magazine that featured more feedback articles, such as how retail shoe sales were doing for example. This type of article will now be in Canadian Footwear. McLeish bought Footwear Forum from Style Communications of Toronto, and decided to merge the publications because the industry can't handle two magazines, McLeish president George McLeish told Adnews this week. Canadian Footwear is published eight times a year and has a controlled circulation of 7,400.
