Intrawest promotes two

Vancouver-based Intrawest has appointed Andy Wirth to the newly-created position of senior-vice president of sales and marketing at its Steamboat resort. He will begin work on June 1. Wirth was previously chief marketing officer at Intrawest. In addition to his new responsibilities, he will continue to oversee the company's overall marketing. Rob Perlman, previously sales and marketing vice-president at Steamboat, has moved to the position of vice-president of sales and marketing at the Winter Park Resort. Prior to joining Steamboat in 2008, Perlman was chief executive officer at Colorado Ski Country USA. Jesse True, who previously oversaw sales and marketing at Winter Park and Copper Mountain, remains vice-president of sales and marketing at Copper Mountain.
