Flight Centre retains MediaCom

Travel company Flight Centre has re-appointed MediaCom of Vancouver as its media planning and buying agency of record. The agency retained the account after a review involving three additional North American firms. "What set MediaCom apart from the others is that they were as good or better in all categories of interest and knew our business best," said Eric Sakawsky, national marketing manager at Flight Centre. "Their presentation clearly stood out and their offering, including their competitive fees, was very solid." Flight Centre currently spends approximately $4 million per year on national print, radio and television advertising.
