PEPSICO BEVERAGE HEAD RESIGNS

After less than four months on the job, U.S.-based Pepsico worldwide beverage chairman and CEO Christopher Sinclair resigned this week. He has been replaced by Pepsico's president Craig Weatherup, leaving the company without a president. Before heading the worldwide beverage unit, Sinclair was president and CEO of Pepsico Foods and Beverages International. In March, Pepsico restructured and put its domestic and international beverage business into one unit called Pepsi-Cola Company. The Frito-Lay and Pepsico Foods International were merged to form one unit called Frito-Lay.
