Canadian Society for Yad Vashem hires The Communications Group

The Canadian Society for Yad Vashem appointed The Communications Group of Toronto as its public relations agency of record. The society conducts events and fundraising activities in Canada in support of the Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority in Jerusalem. "[Agency founding partner] David Eisenstadt brings considerable Jewish community knowledge and PR experience to our Canadian organization, which will be important as we work through a rebranding process," said Fran Sonshine, national chair of the society. "In the overall plan, we need to ensure that Yad Vashem's activities and initiatives will be better exposed to Jewish and non-Jewish communities and that Canadians better understand that Yad Vashem is the world centre dedicated to Holocaust remembrance, education, documentation and research. This is an important message we will communicate to audiences across the country."
