Grassroots Advertising buys Optiad Media

Toronto-based out-of-home media company Grassroots Advertising has purchased Optiad Media, also based in Toronto. Optiad specializes in outdoor advertising projections. The two firms have been working together for the last nine months on a project basis. Optiad co-founder Adam Crabb will join Grassroots, along with a number of additional employees. "The group at Optiad are true visual innovators with a positive and fun can-do attitude," said Michael Gillissie, vice-president of sales and operations at Grassroots. "We are particularly excited about the continued development of dynamic OOH programs that are both measurable and environmentally friendly."
