PHSN, Cruise Media Group form Canadian Health Media Network

Out-of-home media companies PHSN and Cruise Media Group/IDS Canada have created a new alliance called the Canadian Health Media Network. The group operates a national inventory of digital screens in medical waiting rooms that deliver lifestyle programming and advertisements. According to the companies, these screens reach approximately three million viewers per month. The combined group will allow advertisers to purchase air time across the entire inventory of the participating firms. Advertisers will also be able to make use of posters and distribute literature.  "With the rapid expansion of digital-out-of-home media and growing acceptance of digital signage by consumers, we believe this new alliance, with its extended reach, is poised to offer advertisers a compelling media platform to target and engage a captive audience of health-minded consumers where and when their health is top of mind," said Ryan Cruise, president and CEO of Cruise Media.
