Grey Canada gains two assignments

Grey Canada of Vancouver has recently received two new website assignments. The BC Recreation and Parks Association has hired the agency to develop a website for its Walk BC initiative, located at <http://www.walkbc.ca>. The program is a joint effort between the association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon. Walk BC promotes walking to improve the health of adult British Columbians. "The Internet is a powerful tool that builds online communities and enables mass movement," said Suzanne Strutt, CEO of the association. "Grey helped us develop an engaging and interactive website that communicates the benefits of walking in starting and maintaining an active lifestyle, and enables members to exchange ideas and success stories to enhance programs across communities." Transcontinental has hired Grey to redesign the website for Vancouver Magazine, located at <http://www.vanmag.com/>. The new site, which will debut next month, is intended to better reflect the print publication. "Grey Vancouver's digital media experience coupled with their in-depth understanding of the market and our brand enabled them to design a website that delivers the magazine's high-quality experience with advanced online functionalities," said Kim Peacock, publisher at Transcontinental Western Media Group.
