Transcontinental buys Acquizition.biz

Transcontinental of Montreal has purchased Acquizition.biz, a website for the buying and selling of small and medium-sized businesses. The site's listings cover industries including services, manufacturing, warehousing, processing, technology, retail, transport, restaurants and lodging. "Transcontinental is committed to serving targeted communities of interest-in this case business people, and more specifically entrepreneurs," said Pierre Marcoux, vice-president of business publications and book publishing at Transcontinental. "Integrating a digital platform like this with Transcontinental's business publications complements our offering for this community." No financial details are available.
