CD-ROM WALKS THROUGH OLYMPIC HISTORY
By Adnews Staff
Publisher Quon Editions and software developer Axion Spatial Imaging, both of Edmonton, are launching a CD-ROM in North America at the end of the month commemorating 100 years of the Olympics. The product will be available worldwide by the end of July. Called The Olympic Image - The First 100 Years, the CD-ROM contains over 2500 images of modern Olympic art, history and memorabilia. The material includes architecture, posters, signs, torches, medals, stamps and collectibles from all forty modern Olympic Games. Users will be able to view the images, tour the Olympic Museum and quiz themselves on Olympic knowledge. North American print advertising will support the launch of the product. It was created in-house.
