Wasabi Communications opens in Montreal

A new marketing firm called Wasabi Communications has opened in Montreal. The agency is the result of a merger of three firms: Tournesol Advertising, Design Numérique Wasabi and Étoile du Nord Public Relations. The new agency will offer services including public relations, promotion and advertising. The company is managed by five partners: president Martin Lachance, client services vice-president Danielle Comeau, creative vice-president Marc-Antoine Boily, chairman John Stimpson and business development partner Bernard Duval. "The three companies have been working in concert for some years already," said Lachance. "The time had come to identify ourselves under the same banner. The instinct to create integrated communications strategies adapted for our clients came from extensive experience over the past several years. The merger was a strategic decision in direct response to new trends in the field of communications." The firm's clients include Coca-Cola, Bio Spectra, Ferris International, Telus, Joseph Ribkoff International, Schering-Plough, Algorithme Pharma, Mephisto, Trudeau, Les Disques Audiogram, Labatt Breweries of Canada, Videotron, Algorithme Pharma, Lampe Berger Canada and Sympatico MSN.
