Cundari receives Niagara rebranding assignment

The Niagara Convention Centre & Casino and Destination Niagara have retained Toronto-based Cundari to conduct a rebranding assignment. The agency will work to promote Niagara as a tourism destination. "Having a powerful and positive image represents a major competitive advantage in today's globalized, networked world where countries, regions and cities compete with each other for attention, visitors, investment and consumers, as well as political and commercial influence," said Michael Altman, vice-president of brand strategy at Cundari. "Niagara Falls already has very high awareness and recognition around the world. Our job is to help craft a unique story for the Niagara Convention & Civic Center that will properly position it in the minds of meeting planners and future delegates alike. Exposing them to the wonderful history, character and new amenities of Niagara Falls and the whole Niagara Region will be central to our story." The Destination Niagara work will focus on wine and food locations, golf courses, outdoor recreation and the history and heritage of the region.
