New Coors Light advertising released

Molson Canada has released a new television commercial for Coors Light to promote its “Cold Certified Can” packaging. The can is printed with temperature-sensitive ink that changes colour when the beer is cold enough to drink. The 30-second ad, created by DraftFCB, depicts two businesswomen in a boardroom debating which Coors Light promotion should go ahead. Another employee suggests that the two women wrestle to decide the issue. Viewers are then invited to visit a website at CoorsLight.ca to watch the wrestling match. Visitors to the site can choose weapons and a venue for the fight before it begins. “With this new interactive TV spot, we're not only introducing a product that our beer drinkers will enjoy, we're connecting to our target consumers in a way that speaks to them,” said Rob Morrell, senior brand manager for Coors Light.
