Toronto-based Yahoo Canada has launched a new website aimed at women between the ages of 24 and 54 called Yahoo Canada Lifestyle. The site, located at <http://lifestyle.yahoo.ca>, is divided into five content categories: Home & Garden, Fashion & Beauty, Health & Fitness, Family & Relationships and Food & Entertaining. The content is drawn from Chatelaine, Today’s Parent, Flare, Wish, Fashion, Wedding Bells, W Network and Glow, as well as a number of US-based sources. The site also features blogs on the subjects of parenting, relationships, health and fashion. “This demographic consistently shows a high level of engagement in topics that interest them and that translates into a tremendous opportunity for Canadian advertisers to deliver a strong contextual experience to a highly desirable group of consumers in an online lifestyle community,” said Kerry Munro, general manager of Yahoo Canada.
