Carmanah Technologies introduces solar-powered advertising panel

Carmanah Technologies of Vancouver has introduced a new solar-powered illuminated advertising panel called the I-Panel. The four by six foot panels are primarily intended to be installed in transit shelters. “The I-Panel is an ideal application of our solar-powered LED lighting and solar energy management technologies,” said Art Aylesworth, CEO of Carmanah. “We have been working with the outdoor advertising industry, developing techniques to illuminate an advertising panel. Our new solar lighting technology meets or exceeds the performance requirements of the world's largest outdoor advertising firms while providing a clean energy solution with independence from the power grid.”
