Toronto-based Visa Canada has added seven athletes to its Team Visa sponsorship program. Five of the athletes will compete in the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in Beijing, while two will compete in the 2008 Paralympic Games. The athletes include high jumper Mark Boswell, kayaker Karen Furneaux, diver Emilie Heymans, Paralympic swimmer Benoit Huot, rower Sabrina Kolker, wheelchair basketball player Richard Peter and swimmer Rick Say. They will receive financial support and access to various athletic mentors.
