BRYANT FULTON & SHEE LAUNCHES HOSPITAL CAMPAIGN

Bryant Fulton & Shee launched the direct mail portion of the B.C. Children's Hospital fund raising campaign last week. TV, radio and transit shelter PSAs were launched at the beginning of the month. The advertising is designed to raise awareness of the hospital and the annual telethon which will be held next month. The agency says that since it started handling the account for BCCH in 1992 the amount of money raised by direct marketing has more than doubled. Last year the telethon raised $5 million. The hospital awareness ads feature a young child and the headline "This child has leukemia. What would you give to see him well." The headline for the telethon ads is, "What would you give to see a miracle?" The entire campaign is done pro bono. Over $1 million in free media space and air time has been donated.
