UpTrend Media signs representation deal with Piczo

Toronto-based UpTrend Media has signed an exclusive Canadian online advertising representation agreement with Piczo of San Francisco. Piczo operates a social networking website aimed at teenagers at <http://www.piczo.com>. The agreement gives UpTrend the exclusive right to market and sell Piczo’s Canadian advertising traffic. “We are confident this strategic partnership will serve to enhance our growth in Canada and continue to pave the way for Piczo to play a dominant role in the online teen market worldwide,” said Piczo CEO Jeremy Verba. “This agreement provides Canadian marketers access to the increasingly elusive teen audience in a ‘walled garden’ social networking space.” According to the company, Piczo.com receives approximately two million unique visitors from Canada per month.
