W.K. Buckley resumes Bad Taste Face promotion

Cough medicine producer W.K. Buckley of Mississauga has begun a contest called “Bad Taste Face” to find Canadians to appear in an upcoming commercial for Buckley’s Cough Mixture. From Jan. 26 to March 4, passers-by at various public events will be invited to sample the product and have their best bad taste face recorded and displayed on the company’s website. Sampling will take place in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. Participants can also record themselves and upload the video to <http://www.buckleys.com>. Online voting will determine the winner, who will then appear in a future ad. The commercial featuring last year’s winner is now airing nationally. It will run until Feb. 25.
