BILLBOARDS A MOVING EXPERIENCE IN U.S.

Animated Systems and Presentations of Dallas, Texas will begin selling advertising on its network of electronic billboards in the U.S. in six to nine months. The billboards will be in Canada "a little bit later," Animated Systems president Philip Scheldt told Adnews last week. When it does come north, the company will put its boards where it finds the "biggest demographics," said Scheldt. The electronic billboards can project any image produced on a computer screen, with full motion and color. Boards can be linked in networks and controlled from one remote location. Ad messages can be changed on demand and the billboards can be made any size.
