Peanut Bureau of Canada retains Argyle Rowland

Toronto-based Argyle Rowland Communications has been hired by the Peanut Bureau of Canada as its public relations agency of record. The firm won the account in a competitive selection process that involved an unknown number of contenders. The bureau, which is the Canadian branch of the American Peanut Council, promotes the nutritional value and taste of US-grown peanuts in Canada. Argyle Rowland’s assignment includes communications to consumers and health professionals, public education campaigns, website management, sponsorship management and trade-focused initiatives. “Argyle came highly recommended for their knowledge of the food industry and excellent relationships with media and dietitians across Canada,” said Patrick Archer, president of the American Peanut Council. “We were also impressed with the firm’s expertise, experience and understanding that for the overwhelming majority of Canadians, peanuts are a healthy, nutritious food.”
