Piccolo Publishing of Toronto is preparing to launch a new technology magazine called Hub:ce. The free publication will, according to the company, cover consumer electronics as a lifestyle. The magazine will be distributed in urban areas through street boxes along side the company’s existing technology publication, Hub:Digital Living. “One of our primary goals is to arm readers with the right questions to ask at retail,” said editor-in-chief Andrew Moore-Crispin. “We help consumers choose the right technology for their needs and empower them to get the most out of the gadgets and gear they own.” The premier issue contains articles on home theatre displays, digital camera, cell phones, global positioning systems and automotive technology. This issue went into distribution in downtown Toronto on May 23 in advance of a national launch in September.
